Definition:
Crop diversification is defined as the strategy of shifting from less profitable to more profitable crops, changing of variety and cropping system, increasing exports and competitiveness in both domestic and international markets, protecting the environment, and making conditions favorable for combining Agriculture-Fishery-Forestry-Livestock. Crop diversification can be a useful means to increase crop output under different situations.
