Definition:
In feeding enrichment, various types of food are offered to captive animals by varying the timing and methods of food presentation and distribution. It provides animals with an opportunity to extend their natural foraging strategies to obtain food. It also keeps animal busy, reduces aggression and improves health in captive animals.
