Complejo de antibióticos polienos obtenidos a partir de Streptomyces filipinensis. Filipina III altera la función de la membrana al interferir con los esteroles de ésta, inhibe la respiración mitocondrial, y es considerado un agente antifúngico. Filipins I, II y IV son menos importantes.
