Listed below is a bibliography of reference works, databases, thesauri and Internet sites that were used in the preparation of the thesaurus and glossary. This bibliography does not include all texts. Descriptors are chosen for their literary warrant in the U.S. agricultural literature. Authoritative works, e.g., Enzyme Nomenclature, were consulted as needed, however the recommendations of scientists are the definitive source of accepted terminology
